Remembrance Day Song

We were originally going to donate all the money we raised to the excellent help for heroes charity. Since we have got into this in the last few months we have realised that there are many other fantastic charities out there that are doing amazing work for soldiers, veterans and their families and they have been for a long time. Help For Heroes has managed to obtain a huge public profile in the last few years and are raising many millions of pounds which is absolutely fantastic. But these other charities are also out there trying to raise their profile and money to continue great work that they have been doing for a long time. Although we have up to now advertised that all proceeds will go to the help for heroes charity, we have not as yet released the record, or taken any money, so we have decided that we shall donate a proportion to help for heroes but we shall also donate money and support to some of these other great organisations.

All money raised from this song will go to charities that serve Veterans and Soldiers.

Soulweaver will be interviewed on The Rock Show With Neil Jones on Star Radio 107.9 fm Cambridge next Sunday from 7pm till 10pm and Remembrance Day will be played.

Remembrance Day will also be played on The Soundscapes show on arfm.co.uk hosted by Paul Baker Sunday 18th 3pm - 6pm and every Sunday. Paul Baker and arfm.co.uk are offering regular play and plenty of other support in the future weeks!

Remembrance Day

We are undertaking this project of releasing our song Remembrance Day for charity and completely by ourselves, three members of a band. We have no ‘Major Label’ backing and we have written and recorded and funded this song by ourselves and with free help donated by others.

We plan to release Remembrance Day for download in November for donations through a secure payment system, rather that go through the ‘itunes’ route and have them take a third of the money for the pleasure. It will be available for a donation of 50p or more, as it is more about how much money we raise than how many records we sell.
